Based in one of Melbourne's most inspiring showrooms, we work with architects, builders, and developers across Australia, the U.S., and Asia.

What’s the Gig?

This is a critical role responsible for driving growth by identifying and securing new opportunities within the premium architecture and design industry. Representing at least 50% of our Australian work, the Sydney market is our primary focus, with a heavy emphasis on the luxury residential sector.

You will manage a geographic "triangle" spanning from Newcastle to Wollongong and out to Penrith, with the majority of activity centred around the CBD, Northern Beaches, Southern Shire, and Western Suburbs. Our head office is based in Melbourne but the business has plans to open a branch and showroom in Sydney.

You will support a high-achieving team by maintaining exacting standards and providing the technical precision required to ensure Covet’s products are specified in Sydney’s most iconic projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Fostering deep, consultative relationships with architects, developers, and designers to secure product specifications.

  • Engaging with builders and installers on-site to ensure they are comfortable with technical requirements and to foster strong project-level relationships.

  • Conducting formal CPD presentations for architects to help them maintain their professional points while promoting Covet’s solutions.

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals and performance KPIs.

  • Navigating the luxury residential landscape, particularly within the Eastern Suburbs (such as Vaucluse and Rose Bay, and Bellevue Hills) and the Northern Beaches.

  • Maintaining accurate records of all activities within Zoho CRM.

About You

  • You have 3-5+ years in business development or sales, specifically within the Sydney architectural landscape.

  • You have an established following or existing relationships with top-tier firms like Stafford Architecture, Koichi Takada Architects, or Corben Architects for example.

  • You are a "quietly confident" operator—self-motivated, and able to work independently without micromanagement.

  • You possess a genuine interest in contemporary architecture and a keen eye for detail.

  • You are a highly polished presenter, comfortable delivering high-level technical information to industry professionals.

  • You bring solutions, not problems, and align with our values of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • You are just as comfortable meeting builders on a project site as you are in an Architects office.
